Poptacular was founded by former employees of the video game manufacturer Konami. The company is based in London. Their first and successful development was the game app 100 Pics. This app has been downloaded and installed more than 70 million times on various mobile platforms to date. Since 2019/2020, there are physical quiz games from this game app. The games have only been available in the UK and US on Amazon. There are currently 18 different English-language titles. In the last quarter of 2020 alone, the quiz games sold 60,000 on Amazon.co.uk.
