Hurricane Edition, established in 2006, was formed from the separation of the publishing and distribution activities of Swissgames, which has been active in Switzerland since 1997 as one of the leading distributors of board games in the country. The first title published by Hurricane was Mr Jack, a game that immediately achieved great success (over 250,000 copies sold).
