In 1958, Chupa Chups inventor Enric Bernat had a revolutionary idea, he wanted to "eat candy with a fork", when eating sweets finally no more sticky fingers, and so the world's first lollipop was created. In 1969, quite by accident, Salvador Dalí invented the Chupa Chups logo on a sketch sheet, which remains almost unchanged to this day. Chupa Chups is sold in 164 countries around the world and has even been to space, as Russian astronauts took their favorite lollipops with them on their mission to the MIR. Until today Chupa Chups is world-famous and whether small or big everybody loves them! To date, there are more than 100 flavors of Chupa Chups lollipops worldwide.
