Sonic is a computer game from the Japanese publisher Sega. It first appeared on the market in 1991 and since then has continuously released new spin-offs for all video game systems. The first four games of the mother series for the Saga Mega Drive are considered the highlights of the series and have been re-released dozens of times on collections, online offers and mobile markets. Sonic the Hedgehog is the main character and mascot of Sega's Sonic. A feature film hit theaters in early 2020, and its sequel in 2022.
