Description:
Dr. Seuss, whose real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel, was an American children's book author and cartoonist during his lifetime from 1904 to 1991. In Europe, however, he is best known for his books about the Christmas-hating Grinch, who is still very popular today through film adaptations. After he stopped studying at Dartmouth College due to illegal gin consumption, he began studying at Oxford University, where he also met his wife, Helen Palmer. His works, often very well known, are still very popular with children and bring a wide range for licenses.
