”Gnarfs” is a free online game by Phenomedia. In a world-wide league system players may challenge virtual combatants and raise their rank. In 2002 RTV Family Entertainment adopted their story for a German animated TV show.

The Gnarfs are living on a very special planet – Moppa. Unlike other planets, Moppa is not a globe. Instead it consists of two hemispheres connected by an ancient stone bridge. One part is inhabited by the Gnarfs – small, green Neanderthal bullfrog amphibians with clubs, mostly occupied with their never-ending fisticuffs. One the other side – Om Moppa – live the Zorcs, who are always busy crossing the bridge and stealing the Gnarfs’ provisions. One day two Robots, Russ and Freeman, land on Moppa – determined to civilise its primitive inhabitants.

The special thing about The Gnarfs is the anarchistic sense of humour which emerges from the collision between two totally different worlds: High-tech meets Stone Age....
