The Thunderbirds is a popular British TV puppet show from the mid-1960s. For the secret organisation International Rescue the Tracy family faces dangerous adventures and rescues people from grave danger. The series is devised by Gerry Anderson, a puppet master and fan of futuristic design. With an average of 3.5 million viewers the series has long become TV cult.

2004 Universal Pictures and Working Title Films jointly released a “live action" hero adventure based upon the successful TV series. The “Thunderbirds” movie was directed by Jonathan Frakes and starred by Bill Paxton (Apy Kids, Apollo 13, Aliens) and Oscar®-winning Ben Kinsley (Gandhi, Schindlers Liste).

It’s 2010. Having just returned from a dangerous mission to a drilling rig the Thunderbirds have to realize that a mysterious meteorite shower heavily damaged their space station TB5.
