The siblings Charlie and Lola were first created in 2000 by the illustrator and writer Lauren Child for the book series of the same name. Since 2005, the stories about Charlie and his little sister Lola have also been available as a TV series. Lola is an imaginative and bright girl who always asks her nice brother questions about life. He answers the questions and helps her to learn new things. The parents are often mentioned by the two siblings, but they never appear.
