Lilli the Witch is known from the children's book series of the same name Lilli the Witch, written by Knister (real name Ludger Jochmann) and drawn by Birgit Rieger. In the meantime, Lilli the Witch is available in many different languages and can also be found as an audio book and in movies. The books have sold more than 17 million copies so far. And the first feature film "Lilly the Witch: The Dragon and the Magic Book" was nominated at the German Film Awards 2009 in the category best children's and youth film. Lilli was actually a normal girl, but when she finds a magic book in her room, she suddenly becomes a witch and experiences one adventure after another. She is supported by the little dragon Hektor, who knows a lot about magic and sorcery.
