Description:
Donald has always been one of the most famous cartoon characters ever since his first appearance in the film “The Wise Little Hen” on June 9th, 1934. More animations followed, introducing more friends (and foes).
Since 1937 he has been raising his three nephews (Huey, Dewey and Louie) alone. For his single parenthood and his clumsy behaviour he often raises compassion. His wealthy uncle Scrooge McDuck misses no chance to compromise his nephew and reveal him as a jinx.
Carl Barks, the great Disney artist, drew the duck from 1942–1966, the time of Donald’s greatest success.
