Camp Rock is a Disney Channel Original Movie released in 2008. The film is a mixture of music, drama and comedy.

The plot revolves around Mitchie Torres, played by Demi Lovato, a talented girl with a passion for music. She dreams of being a famous singer on stage and therefore secretly applies to the renowned music camp "Camp Rock". At Camp Rock she meets Mitchie Shane, played by Joe Jonas, who develops feelings for Mitchie over the course of the film.

Camp Rock was so popular that a sequel was released in 2010, and both films are still very popular with young people today.
