Description:
“Mensch ärgere Dich nicht” is a classic board game or even THE classic board game in Germany. Invented by Josef Friedrich Schmidt in Winter 1907/1908, the game reached great popularity during World War I.
By 1920 a million copies had already been sold by the inventor’s games company. Almost unchanged in design, the game is still successfully marketed by Schmidt Spiele GmbH. More than 70 million copies have been sold to date. Now the brand programme has grown considerably, including licensed products from play mats to mobile phone games, and lost nothing of its popularity.
