”The Wannabes” is a new format by bestselling author and producer Doreen Spicer (Disney Channel’s hit films “Jump In!” & “The Proud Family”). Director is Eric Dean Seaton (“That’s So Raven”, “Cory in the House”, “Suite Life of Zack & Cody”). Six teenagers, Alan, Andrew, Drew, Mariah, Sarah and Shaylen, share one big dream – they want to be pop stars! Five of them are students at the Academy of Arts. Right from the beginning, they have nothing but trouble. Although they acknowledge that they need to know the basics of classical dance and music, they are not willing to go without pop music.
