The animated series takes place five years after the predecessor series Ben 10 and continues the events surrounding Ben Tennyson. Ben is now 15 years old, just like his cousin Gwendolyn. He had managed to lead a normal life for the last five years, because he had managed to outrun the Omnitrix. But now the two of them are up against a new horde of aliens, the DNAliens. To save their grandfather they have to fight against the DNAliens. But fortunately, the two have been able to make progress in recent years and Gwen, for example, has improved her magical powers.
