After almost the entire population has been infected by Nanobots, they turn into aggressive monsters, so-called "Evos". To fight against them, the organization "Providence" is founded and here Rex comes into play, he takes up the fight against the Evos together with "Providence". Rex is a 15-year-old boy who - like any other 15-year-old - loves cars, girls, music and sports. Unlike others, however, Rex is able to alter his body to keep the Evos at bay. While he has also been infected by Naonobots, he can control them. Thus, his hand sometimes grows to the size of a car, a jetpack pops out of his back, or he himself transforms into a fast motorcycle. These powers are what make Rex special...
