Gargoyles are dark creatures originating from an American animated TV series of 1994.

Gargoyles haunt the nights and turn into stone during the day. In the past they defended an ancient Scottish castle. Accidentally brought to Manhattan, they now watch over the citizen of New York like guardian angles. In the nights, they fight villains and criminals together with the police officer Elisa who discovered their secret.
